Hey y'all!
I've always had a creative spirit. It all started in elementary school when I realized I could bring my imagination to life through drawing. In middle school, I discovered a passion for music and learned to play instruments. High school introduced me to the expressive art of dance. But as an adult, I struggled to find a way to channel my artistic side—until I stumbled upon face painting.

My daughters, ages 4 and 6, absolutely love getting their faces painted at events. That sparked an idea: Why not give it a try myself? In 2023, while we were at an empty pumpkin patch, I asked a face painter if I could paint my kids' faces, and I gave it a shot. As for how I did—well, I'll let you judge for yourself (photos below).
A year later, I couldn't get the idea out of my head. So, I bought my own face paints and brushes, watched tutorial videos, and tried again. This time, I was much more prepared and ready to become a professional face painter.

Why the name, ZADE?
God and my family are my motivation behind what I do and how I spend my time. My husband, Zach, is my biggest supporter. Our two daughters, Emery and Amara, are more than my inspiration—they're practically my business partners! They paint my face as much as I paint theirs, and mark my words, they are on their way to becoming the best face painters in America. The girls can already do excellent glitter tattoos! ZADE is not just Devan as the artist, but it's a family ran business that involves Zach (Z), Amara (A), Devan (D), and Emery (E). From our family to yours, we thank you for booking us for your next event!
